Veronica (formerly known as M/V Mona Lisa) was originally built in
1966 by John Brown & Co. Clydebank Scotland as a transatlantic liner
and tourist ship for the US-Swedish Lines. She has since undergone
several name changes from Kungsholm to Sea Princess, to Victoria,
to Oceanic II, to Mona Lisa. As Mona Lisa, she was owned and
operated by Leonardo Shipping Inc. as a cruise ship under the
Bahamas flag before being acquired by DSME (Daewoo Shipbuilding &
Marine Engineering) Oman LLC in October 2010.
M/V “Veronica” is the
Sultanate’s latest phenomenon. It is the first and only luxury
floating hotel located in the heart of Duqm port. This swaying
beauty is all set to change the Duqm landscape in the most eloquent
way. Owned and operated by DSME (Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine
Engineering) Oman LLC; operators of Oman Drydock Company (ODC), this
